Rupinder Minhas

Rupinder is a partner at Minhas Lawyers Professional Corporation and practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate and business law, restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency, and general commercial litigation. He regularly advises business owners, lenders, investors, developers, and entrepreneurs on complex commercial transactions, corporate structuring, secured lending, shareholder matters, acquisitions and dispositions, and business disputes.

Rupinder has extensive experience representing clients in a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, debt enforcement, receivership proceedings, injunctions, construction-related disputes, and commercial leasing matters. He regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Commercial List, and other Ontario courts and tribunals on behalf of his clients in commercial and civil matters. He is known for his practical, strategic, and results-oriented approach to resolving disputes both inside and outside the courtroom.

In addition to his litigation practice, Rupinder regularly assists clients with the acquisition and sale of businesses, commercial financing transactions, commercial real estate matters, and corporate reorganizations. He works closely with clients to provide efficient and commercially focused legal solutions tailored to their business objectives.

Rupinder was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013. Prior to entering the legal profession, he gained valuable experience working in the Canadian real estate and mortgage industries. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Engineering.

Rupinder is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
