Rupinder Minhas

Rupinder practices in the area of Immigration law, advising and assisting clients on both Canadian federal immigration and provincial immigration matters. Rupinder can assist with Spousal sponsorship, family sponsorship, parents' sponsorship, refugee claim, Express Entry, Work Permit, Student Visa, Visitor Visa (TRV), Business Visa, Temporary Resident Permit (TRP), PNP applications. Rupinder assists his employer clients with Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) applications. Rupinder can also assist clients with their PR appeals, and Judicial review applications.  

Rupinder also assists clients as a Criminal Defense Lawyer. He can assist with Drink and Drive, Domestic Assaults, thefts, and frauds related offences. 

In addition to his Immigration and Criminal law practice, Rupinder practices business law, corporate law, tax law, securities law , wills and estate law, and real estate law. He enjoys assisting clients with the sale and purchase of various types of businesses. He is committed to formulating practical and cost-effective solutions to address the matters for which his clients seek his assistance. 

Rupinder was called to the Ontario bar in 2013. Before joining the Minhas Law firm in 2013 as a partner, Rupinder obtained his Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours at the University of Buckingham. Rupinder was awarded many awards while pursuing his law degree. He was nominated for University’s most prestigious Edgar Palamountain award for excellence.

In addition to his law degree, Rupinder received an Honours Bachelor of Engineering. Before attending law school, Rupinder worked in the field of Canadian real estate and mortgage industries.
