Contract Law is a legal obligation between two or more persons. The agreement is free from any vitiating factor such as misrepresentations or misgivings and instituted by the categorical acceptance of an unpaid offer involving judiciously specific set of terms between two contractually competent parties that may be the subject of jurisdictive sanction. Firstly, an offer is also called it ‘invitation to treat’ or invitation to the general public. It makes an offer on a particular item to all. The offer is made clear, unambiguous and straight forward to a party to contract.
Secondly, the acceptance is to be cleared and made unconditional by the person who is showing his/her interest.
Thirdly, it comes for consideration in that one of the three criteria needs to be met before binding the contract.
A wide range of human activities are governed by contracts, including legal, engineering, medical, architectural, painting, construction, employment, loans, education, sale & purchase of real estate, insurance, publishing, movie-making, software licensing etc.
But most common types of contracts are the lease and hire of services the contract of sale, the lease and hire things and the mandate. A contract is an agreement legally binding between two or more parties or persons for a particular purpose. If a person gives another person something, an offer is proposed, accepted and valid in principle. The offer could be anything from to take a delivery of an item in return for a certain amount, or to provide a service for a certain salary.
